Juan Manuel de Rosas is a complex personality in Argentinian history. Rosas was specific with his grooming; he would shave once every eight days and never wore shoes, only boots. He would not drink alcohol or anything “for entertainment.” It is said that he requested to be buried with his favorite porcelain dish. For a strong leader with a delicate and peculiar taste, an unconventional rose.
